Since October of 2011 we welcome everyone in De Maaskant.
Before, the hotel was known under the name of 'Ter Eyckerpoorte' but since the building received a complete facelift, both inside and outside, we wanted to make this very clear by giving it a new name: De Maaskant.

Thanks to our location on the corner of the city centre of Maaseik, a pearl in the river valley, your stay with us is the ideal opportunity to discover the entire area. We traced out some very nice bicycle routes for you, but also a unique walking route that will teach you about the city of Maaseik. All our rooms are named after an ancient building in Maaseik and the history of that building is explained on your 'front door'. This way you can go back in time and visit 'your room' in person, in the centre of Maaseik.
